Ashley knows that I blog and that I write for clients and she wants to do that too. Tonight she said she wants to have a blog like her mommy.
So I helped her set one up, change the colors and she wrote her first post. It's here if you want to check it out. She is calling it 'being a kid with a disability'.
She's one smart little cookie. I'm so grateful she's mine.

I'm grateful today for being able to spend time with my father yesterday. After we took Ashley to be casted for a new DAFO, we stopped by to see him and then went to see my older sister Cheri.
Dad hasn't been feeling too well for a few days and he might be coming down with the flu. I hope he can beat this soon ~~it's odd to see him so tired and without his usual spark.
Cheri was at 'work' and we surprised her. She was sitting facing a wall, looking at her communicator board. Here she is being sorta hugged by Ash

Cheri reminds me that I need to be happy all the time ~~to continue counting my blessings. She's a happy soul.

Giving
I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to give. It keeps me from being entirely centered on me, or my difficulites.
When you think of others and put their needs before your own, your troubles seem to shrink.
Let's hear it for shrinkage!
