I’m so tired this morning, but I’m grateful that my job allows me to be home with my children and get them off to school in the mornings. I held on to my youngest this morning after I put her shoes on her and tied the laces.
She’s going to be nine years old next month. My baby… Holding her is like holding heaven in my arms. I close my eyes and feel an incredible surge of love that flows between us both. I am incredibly blessed.

Alarm Clocks
Yes, you heard it here first folks. Someone who is grateful for those nasty little noise making machines that cause you to rise from the dead of sleep, when you'd really rather not.
If it weren't for alarm clocks I might have missed seeing my son off to his first day of being a junior in high school this moring. (yawn)
One down, two to go!

Is this wrong?
I'm grateful for people who give pedicures. Doesn't that sound strange? But I am. I do not like feet. Sometimes I am even unable to touch my own feet without cringing. I have a thing about feet. Baby feet are wonderful, I love them! But older feet, including my own, are not something I can touch easily.
So for today I am thankful for workers who give pedicures. I got one today because I needed one. Ahhhhh.....smooth, comfy footies with beautiful polish on the toes.
